It is important to adhere to established prevention guidelines when in the Steriatrics® facility. The best way to prevent infection is to avoid exposure to the Covid-19 virus.

The U.S. CDC recommends a number of common preventive actions to prevent the spread of the virus, including:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds, taking care to scrub between the fingers and the backs of the hands.

  • Use an alcohol-based hand rub that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available. Avoid shaking hands.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Avoid close contact with sick persons.

  • Cover any coughs or sneezes and immediately wash your hands afterwards.

  • Cover your nose and mouth with a mask when around other people.
